Backlit frost crystals on glass with a bright low sun glowing through the center in warm amber light.

Sunlight Through Frost

OULU, NORTH OSTROBOTHNIA, FINLAND

A close study of frost crystals laid over glass, each branch-like shard lit from behind. The low sun turns the center of the frame into a bright core, pushing amber light through the ice. Around it, the frozen pattern reads almost botanical, but stays sharply physical and cold. Dark edges hold the image in place, while the interior glows with a short winter intensity. It feels like morning compressed into texture: light, cold air, and a surface that has gone opaque with frost.
