Gulls on the Driftwood Line
DANUBE DELTA, DOBRUJA, ROMANIA
A cluster of gulls holds the exposed driftwood at the edge of the water. The birds read as layered pale forms against reed-green distance and flat, reflective shallows. Telephoto compression pulls the flock into a single field of perches, bills, wings, and still legs. The image is less about action than about pause: a quiet feeding point mapped by wood and light. It functions as a direct field record in the Danube Delta wetlands.
