Glossy Ibises at the Waterline

DANUBE DELTA, DOBRUJA, ROMANIA

Two glossy ibises work the shallows in parallel, heads down and bodies held low. The frame gives most of its space to pale water and a restrained horizon of soft reflection. Their dark plumage reads as a quiet silhouette against the surface. Long legs and curved bills carry the scene’s only hard geometry. It is a direct field record of feeding behavior in open wetland light.
